# Your profile

> Your display name and your email address, on /settings/my-account.

`/settings/my-account` holds the two things that are yours rather than the account's.

## Full name

What your teammates see beside you on the [team page](/team/manage) — in the member table, in the role panel, and in the removal confirm, all reading one label so nobody is a name on one screen and an address on the next.

Up to 120 characters. Sending an empty value **clears** the name rather than leaving it unchanged; clearing it and omitting it are different instructions.

Where there is no name, your email address stands on its own rather than under a placeholder pretending to be one. Search matches the name as well as the address, since a name you can see but cannot search for is worse than no name.

  If someone invited you, they were asked for your name at the invite — so you have a name on the team list from the moment you are invited, before you have ever signed in.

## Email

Shown and locked. It is your sign-in identity, held by Supabase Auth, and it is what an invitation was matched against when you joined.

## Delete account

Also on this page, and owner-only. It is here rather than in company settings because it is the end of your relationship with the product rather than an edit to the company's details. See [Delete your account](/account/delete).

## Theme is not on this page

It lives in the account menu — in the sidebar on desktop, behind the avatar on mobile — because it is a preference you flip, not a form you fill in.

It is saved to your **membership**, not only to the browser. Stored in the browser alone it was a property of a device: set dark on the laptop, open the same account on a phone, get light, with nothing anywhere saying why. The browser still holds a copy so the page paints in the right theme before anything is fetched.

Saving it raises no toast. A settings form deserves a confirmation because you pressed a button and want to know it took; flipping the theme confirms itself the instant the page changes colour.

## No password

Sign-in is a magic link. There is nothing to change.
